FPL Production Workers

Fabricated Plastics Ltd - A Division of Ershigs, Inc. is a diverse plastics engineering, custom fabricator, and marketing company serving customers around the world. We seek enthusiastic, self-starting, reliable people to work in our manufacturing facility as General Laborers. This position would be full-time, day/night shift, Monday - Friday, with occasional overtime.

Day Shift is 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Swing Shift is 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM (2nd Shift premium)

Employees may be switched from days to swing with advance notice from management.

Duties include:

• Work with crew leads to complete tasks timely
• Cut/size/prepare material in fabrication
• Use rollers for Hand Layup fabrication
• Daily/nightly clean up
• Practice proper quality procedures
• Report any damaged or spoiled material to crew lead
• Wear proper personal protective equipment
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Participates in the safety and good housekeeping programs as established within the plant.

Bonus qualifications:

• Blueprint reading
• Trigonometry
• Plastic welding
• Chopper Gun
• Mold Fabrication and maintenance
• Experience with hand tools
• Experience working with Fiberglass

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently required to:

• Stand, walk, climb
• Use hands to finger, grip
• Reach with hands and arms, repetitive motion
• Bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Lift and carry
• Withstand temperature changes and exposure to dirt, dust, and fumes.
